			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are all made up of energy that appears as matter and if there is a block in the flow of energy we end up with disease.</p>
<p>So how do we maintain a healthy energy level?</p>
<ul>
<li>Recognise that our thoughts and emotions can disturb our energy flow</li>
<li>Eat food as close as possible to how nature intended</li>
<li>Clean air and water</li>
<li>Enough sleep to replenish energy</li>
</ul>
<p>In Dr Schindlers book &#8216;How to live 365 days a Year&#8217; he shows that 3 out of every 4 hospital beds are occupied by people with EII &#8211; Emotionally Induced Illness. This means their illness is real, and they experience real symptoms.  However the illness may have been prevented if they had learned how to handle their emotions. He suggests a programme for emotions management. Ask yourself- &#8216;Did anyone ever teach me how to deal effectively with my emotions?&#8217; If so you are lucky, if not then it is highly likely your emotions will at some stage distrupt your energy flow and lead to disease.</p>
<p>So think about what you are putting into your body in regards to food, water, air, reading material, TV, friends oppinions and how much sleep you are getting. It is always better to prevent disease from occuring then it is to try and manage it when it appears.</p>

<p>I have found that for most people it is not the weight loss which is the issue but the weight maintenance and maintaining a healthy energy level that most people want. The fact is that most diets work. Some are better then others as they promote mostly fat loss, rather then fat and muscle loss.</p>
<p>However no mater what the program people put weight back on in the majority of cases. Why is this?</p>
<p>I have found that most people have a goal for weight loss, however few people have a goal for weight maintenance. When I thought about why I mantain my weight I realised it was becasue that is my goal. For me the desire to remain at my current weight is stronger then the desire to over eat. So this is the main thing that I focus on when it comes to weight control. That is helping people to find their goals and reasons why they want to maintain their weight. I use some highly successful programs to help people achieve their goals of weight loss or maintainance and maintaining a Healthy Energy Level.</p>
<p>When it comes to having a healthy energy level the food we eat can make a big difference. Fruit and raw vegetables give enormous amounts of vitality and are important to consume daily. In the early 90&#8242;s it was recommended that we eat 5 serves of fruit and vegetables a day. At that time it was thought that about 20% of people actually did this every day. Due to the poor quality of food the recommendation has now increased to 7 serves of fruit and vegetables a day. Imagine how many people eat that!</p>
<p>That is 2 fruit                                                           and 5 vegetables daily.</p>

<p>If not then you are not getting everything you need to have a healthy body. <p><strong>Food Energy</strong></p>
<p>Food has it&#8217;s own energy and when it is processed or modified then the energy will also change. Our bodies have genectically adapted to the food available and will continue to do so, however understandably could have difficulty with the rapid change in food over the last 50 years. If you don&#8217;t believe that food effects how you feel then try eating whole foods for 4 days and see the difference. eg Meat/chicken/fish with vegetables, fruit and nuts and seeds. Avoid anything tinned or cooked and packaged, including bread and see how you feel. Or try a few days of eating only packaged and takeaway foods, with no fruit and vegetables and see how you feel. If you don&#8217;t feel any different on the 2nd option then that is a very bad sign that your <em>Healthy Energy</em> level is very low.</p>
<p>As a child I was lucky enough to have parents that feed me healthy food. So if I went out to a party and ate lots of cakes and biscuits and chocolates, I felt terrible. So from a young age I realised that what you eat can make a big difference to how you feel. Unfortunately many people have not experienced feeling really good for long periods of time and don&#8217;t realise the effects of what you eat on how you feel. I welcome the opportunity to work with you as a <a title="Nurtritionist" href="http://www.healthyenergyspecialist.com/nutritionist" target="_self">Nutritionist</a> on your goals of having a healthy energy level.</p>
<p><strong>Water and Air </strong></p>
<p>Clean <a title="Water Filter" href="http://www.thesinkwaterfilter.com/" target="_blank">water</a> and <a title="Air Purifier" href="http://www.cleaningairpurifier.com/" target="_blank">air</a> will reduce the toxic load on our bodies and make it easier for them to function. This then gives us a better energy level. The less toxins your body takes in the better as it gives you a chance to expel more then you take in and result in a net loss of toxins from the body. We need approx 2 L of water a day and 13L of air a day. That is a lot for the body to process.</p>
<p><strong>Sleep </strong></p>
<p>We all know how we feel if we have insomnia or have done shift work or anything that has given us less sleep. It has been proven that our motor skills decrease with lack of sleep. A study found that being awake for 17-19 hours resulted in worse driving skills then those with a blood alcohol of .05%. The legal limit for drink driving in most westernised countries. It suggests that 16-60 percent of accidents involve sleep deprivation. So to maintain a healthy enerfgy level sleep is vital.</p>
